There is a new Star Trek 60th anniversary opening, which starts with the TOS Enterprise going into warp and then transforming into each subsequent series’ hero ships, from the refit to Enterprise*-D, *Defiant*, *Voyage*, NX-01, *Discovery*, the SNW *Enterprise and finally the USS Athena. The font used in the series captions is the one first seen in TMP.

How do I search on pixelfed

So I made a script that post once every 8 hours or where I start the script. The script will post to random c/ that has subscribers but low activity from a corresponding subreddit in hopes of jump starting it.

I posted this previously on new communities, but I thought it would be good to share here.

It’s kinda hard to get a feel for which community you should post somethings in. I’d say this is particularly true of discussion topics/text posts (that end up never posted). Anyone else or Is it just a me problem? If not, what could be done about it?

We are transferring to a new server. We expect everything to be complete without 48hours but could possibly take longer if we run into any issues.

I just tried to make a post on Mastodon and tag a community in it so that my post would show up in that community – something I’ve done many times before.

As far as I know, the software used by Fediverse, a decentralized social networking site, makes information public due to its decentralized nature, and as a result, it’s often possible to obtain feeds of the latest information via RSS.

Paramount+ doesn’t have the “Spanish (Latin American” dub beyond season 2, and I’ve long been wondering if it even exists for later seasons. It would be a travesty if it didn’t, as most voices were at least tolerable, and Boimler straight up sounded like Jack Quaid speaking Spanish.

I’m looking for android, but I suppose iOS welcome for those with iPhones.

Star Trek Strange New Worlds is my favorite Star Trek series ever. I love all the risks they take and the cast is excellent. I can’t believe it’s being cut short. Give me 7, 8, 9 seasons.

Is posting from #Mastodon to a #Lemmy community a good idea or will this just confuse everyone?

I’m looking to move to a new Mastodon instance, away from Mastodon.social. I don’t have any problems with .social, but I kinda want to keep things decentralized in the Fediverse, and I want to start fresh with a new account regardless.

If I subscribe 2 or 3 large coms, all the more quiet coms that I want to hear from get wiped out from the first pages of the feed…is there a way to recover them, by having like an upvote (increase weight by +1) subscribe button in an already subscribed com (upsubscribe, lol)…or maybe a multi? What do you use in these cases?
